A team of surf novices who have been busying themselves with a cross-Australia skateboard journey are now about to embark on a quest to master the ocean waves. 10 of us, all beginners, have three months and the Victorian, News South Wales and Queensland coastlines between them and a half decent grip of a brand new boardsport.
